Vice President for Research The vice president for research, through the Division of Research, provides leadership and coordination to deliver strategic support to further Texas A&M University’s research mission by supporting faculty, as individuals or in groups; growing federal funding by encouraging interdisciplinary/multidisciplinary collaborations; strengthening the research infrastructure; promoting the value of research; and ensuring compliance with research standards established by the federal government, the state of Texas, Texas A&M and The Texas A&M University System.
